slipknot songsSlipknot Songs.?

Why is it that in almost all of Slipknot's songs, the use big words? Is one of the band members very smart or something?
SlipKnoT isn't an average band. Their songs are intellectual poetry, no matter how simple the song seems. Like in People = AV儿劣*, delve into the song, and actually try to see why they think that. As well as in Vermillion, a more complex song, the meanings are rather numerous. As well as being intellectual, it's also put in such a way that people in general will understand the basic message; we need change.
I agree with sphinx, there seems to be this overwhelming stereslipknot songsotype in most rock music that the performers are of low intelligence. However, this of course is not true, many musicians such as Les Claypool of Primus have one or more college degrees, but choose to play music because they enjoy it, or it makes them money. Unfortunately, the stereotype is brought forward by some of the bands or artists that are of lower intelligence, or intentionally act like they are braindead, such as Motley Crue, or Poison. Many bands use alot of larger words in their songs, but most of us don't pay attention to it because we enjoy listening to them. I'd sayslipknot songs don't worry about the lyrics and just have fun listening to the band.
ok first of all im very offended by that
not all musicians are stupid
and you don't have to be really smart to use big words
its called a theosoris
alot of the times when you're writing a song and the word you want to use doesnt sound good and ruins the flow you look up another word that means the same thing but sounds better and thats what they do
Idk go to one of their concerts try to meet em then ask em :O? and yea Corey Taylor is one of those ppl that like big words =]
